U9 boys Development Team - Fall

Program Details

The U9 Development Team is made up of 2012 birthyear players looking to improve their skills and play local competitive lacrosse. The development teams serve as the second stage of the TOP Lacrosse progression path, providing players an opportunity to play local competitive lacrosse during a 2-month season. 


Practices
The U9 development team will practice once per week from early September - early November:

  • Sundays 2:00pm-3:30pm @ Bishop Strachan School


Schedule

First practice - Sunday September 13th @ 2:00pm

Last practice - Sunday November 1st @ 2:00pm

Program Overview

**PLEASE NOTE THIS TEAM IS NOW FULL FOR THE 2020 SPRING SEASON**


The U9 Development Team is made up of 2012 birthyear players with a one year of lacrosse experience looking to improve their skills and learn more about the game of lacrosse. The Spring development teams serve as the second stage of the TOP Lacrosse progression path, providing players an opportunity to play local competitive lacrosse during a 3 month season. 


Practices
The U9 development team will practice twice per week 

  • Sundays 3:00pm-4:30pm @ BSS
  • Thursday 6:30pm-8:00pm @ UCC/BSS


Games

This team runs from early April through the end of June. All games will come from inter-squad scrimmages and games against local opponents, which will mainly be on Sunday afternoons at BSS.


Coaches

The TOP Lacrosse program is overseen by Mark Pryor, current assistant coach of the UCC Varsity team, former NCAA D-1 player, and experienced youth lacrosse coach. Mark will be assisted by TOP Sports' staff coaches as well as numerous former NCAA and Jr.A players.

Note: Depending on numbers of players interested, assessment practices may be held to determine the placement of players on the U9 team.
