U11 Girls Development Team - Fall

Program Details

The U11 Girls Development Team is made up of 2010-2011 birthyear players with a few years of lacrosse experience looking to play local lacrosse and become part of Midtown Toronto's only competitive girls lacrosse setup. The U11 girls development team serves as the second stage of the TOP Lacrosse progression path, providing players an opportunity to play local competitive lacrosse during a 2 month Fall season.

Practices

The U11 development team will practice once per week from early September - early  November:

  • Sundays 2:00pm-3:30pm @ Bishop Strachan School


Schedule

First practice - Sunday September 13th @ 2:00pm

Last practice - Sunday November 1st @ 2:00pm

U11 Girls Development Team - Spring

Program Details

The U11 Girls Development Teams are made up of players 10 and under with moderate years of lacrosse experience looking to improve their skills and practice more than once per week. The U11 girls development teams serve as the second stage of the TOP Lacrosse progression path, providing players an opportunity to play local competitive lacrosse during a 3 month season. Every few weeks this team will be split into 2-3 smaller teams and will participate in 'festival style' games against one another.


Practices
The U11 development team will practice twice per week from April - June:

  • Sundays 10:30am-12:00pm @ De La Salle 
  • Wednesday 6:30pm-8:00pm @ BSS 
  • Thursday 6:30pm @ North Prep Junior PS (April Only)


Games

This team competes during the Spring season, running from late April through the end of June. All games will come against other U11 development teams on Sunday afternoons, and will consist of 'festival style' weekly games.


Coaches

This team will be coached by Lauren Coffey and Kelsi Carr, both former University lacrosse players and passionate coaches. Lauren and Kelsi will be assisted by TOP Sports' staff coaches as well as numerous former National team, Team Ontario, and Jr.A players.
