At TOP Sports we remain committed to offering high-quality sports programs that you have come to know, and are excited to get back on the field, in the gyms, and on the ice in the coming weeks and months.
As expected, the gradual return-to-play in Ontario will include guidelines surrounding the health and safety of all players, coaches, parents, and families in the TOP Sports community. As a team we are working hard on adapting our programs to meet the guidelines set by Public Health Ontario (PHO), and have included a list of measures below that will be in effect when our programs re-open.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
In an effort to create the safest environment for all campers, instructors, and staff, TOP Sports will be adhering to the latest COVID-19 safety measures as recommended by the Province of Ontario’s Ministry of Health in their report on August 13. For a full list of the COVID-19 summer day-camp safety measures, click here.
The following restrictions may be adhered to during summer day-camps, in accordance with applicable local health and safety policies at the time of camp:
As per government regulations of summer day-camps, participants in each camp will be split into Camp Bubbles, or small-groups of no more than 8 campers and 2 instructors (10 people total). Each individual Camp Bubble of 10 people will remain together for the entire week and will be segregated from other Camp Bubbles for the duration of each camp week. There will be no mixing or interaction between Camp Bubbles at any time throughout the week, and physical distancing between Camp Bubbles will be enforced. Please note that close contact within Camp Bubbles will be unavoidable, but physical distancing measures will be in place where possible.
