11U Boys Development Team - Spring

Program Overview

**PLEASE NOTE THIS TEAM IS NOW FULL FOR SPRING 2020**

Please check back in May for Fall season registration.


The 11U Boys Development Team is made up of players 11 and under with a few years of soccer experience looking to improve their skills and play competitive soccer. The development teams serve as the second stage of the TOP Soccer progression path, providing players an opportunity to play local competitive soccer during a 3 month season. 


Practices

The 11U development team will practice twice per week from April-June:

  • Sundays 9:00am-10:30am @ De La Salle 
  • Mondays 6:30pm-8:00pm @ BSS


Games

This team runs from early April through the end of June. All games will come from tournament and local exhibition play through Ontario Soccer and local academies.


Coaches

This team will be head-coached by Shane Beharry, program director and head coach of TOP Soccer, as well as Stephen Hughes, experienced youth soccer coach at the provincial level. The 11U soccer team will be assisted by TOP Sports' staff coaches as well as numerous former OPDL and Academy players.

Number of Practices: 32 hours of practice (2 per week)

Number of Games: 3-4

Spots: Limited spots available

Practice Fields: De La Salle, The Bishop Strachan School.

Included: TOP Soccer kit, field rentals, professional coaching, tournaments fees, insurance.


Note: Depending on numbers of players interested, assessment practices may be held to determine the placement of players on the 11U team.

Program Overview
